Abstracts submission

The Department of Quantitative Economics of the National Polytechnic School invites researchers, teachers, and students to submit abstracts for Economics Week 2024: Reflections on Development in Latin America and Ecuador, which will be held from December 11 to 13, 2024.
 
This event seeks to generate a space for critical analysis of economic development approaches, evaluating their impacts on growth, social equity, and sustainability in Latin America, with special emphasis on Ecuador. Through various thematic lines, theories, public policies and strategies that contribute to inclusive and sustainable development will be explored.
 

Lines of research

This event will be structured into various thematic lines that will address critical aspects of economic growth in the region and Ecuador. Each line will consist of lectures by world-renowned researchers, as well as presentations by Ecuadorian researchers in the afternoon sessions.

Format of Abstracts

 
Abstracts should be between 200 and 400 words, and include:
  • Title of the paper
  • 3 to 5 keywords
  • Line of research and 2 JEL codes
  • Authors and corresponding affiliations
